Republic is experiencing a rebirth after the iron mine closed over 20 years ago. Recently, new mineral deposits have been found nearby by the mining companies. A processing mill is planned for Humboldt Township just North of Republic. Now is the time to make a commitment to yourself and your family to be on the ground floor in the upcoming renaissance of the community.
Individuals planning on attending the 23rd annual fishing derby, July 20 & 21, 2013 are advised to contact the fishing derby officials for information on services available in the area.
